Street Fights And Real Life Situations

Street situations and other self defense situations are so scary because they are often unexpected and potentially deadly. On top of that many techniques learned in a casual or sport context will not apply. Real world martial arts in a self-defense situation is very different. But that makes them even more relevant to think about and analyze. Let's watch the hours of videos of self defense situations available online and learn some lessons. This course is in no way glorifying violence. I want to make that clear. We only  seek to learn lessons from the footage from street situations that exist all over the world. Also, when in doubt, please ask a professional. Finally, run away when possible, please. That's just a general rule of thumb. What you will see in many of these videos even if we didn't mention it is that running away was almost always possible. In fact, running almost always could have solved it. Note: we will add to this playlist constantly, so please check back for updates every week for more analysis of self defense situations! Sexual Energy Retention/Discipline For Martial Artists

At first glance this might seem like a strange topic, but I promise you from the bottom of my heart that this is life changing. We have way too much stimulation in our modern big-data society. With all its wonders and benefits, our devices and modern living overwork our reward circuits in our brain. On top of that there are parts of our body that we don't really pay attention to in our modern sedentary lifestyle that deserve a lot more love and strengthening. As martial artists, learning some of these techniques will help you focus better and help you control your gaze and attention. Don't you want more energy and less distraction to train your martial art and grow as a human being? Let's explore some life changing habits as we learn ways to strengthen and balance our body's natural urges and even channel them into better and more productive pursuits. I am not a teacher. I am just a fellow journeyman in this journey to better myself. So although this is a "course," it's more my stream of conscious as we go on this journey together with my notes. Also, these videos do not substitute for medical advice. Just have fun with this and see if this is something that benefits you in the long run.
