closed guard- legs are wrapped around torso and feet locked this is used to break posture and holding person down, feet on hips for distance management, butterfly guard to elevate person, butterfly half guard is used to counter the weight being distributed by opponent having your knee at the center of torso, half guard for holding down, lock down leg position where the outside leg is over the trapped and the inside leg hooks under foot hooking your outside leg under opponents ankle.Read more ...
